The original Mako was the straightest-flying midrange we’ve ever tested, and the Mako3 design provides a lower profile for the same straight flights with an even higher level of wind-resistance.
Flight Ratings and Analysis
SPEED | GLIDE | TURN | FADE |
5 | 5 | 0 | 0 |
Midrange, 1.2cm Rim | High Glide | Very Overstable, Highly wind resistant. |
Very, VERY straight finish. |
Weight Class Recommendations: 165-180g
To fully utilize the Mako3’s capabilities, it is best paired with middle to VERY Heavyweight classes, allowing players to use it for anything from short drives to long putts.
165-169g – More flight distance potential, but with a lower level of distance precision and wind resistance.
170-174g – Increased Control and Wind Resistance
175-180g – Ultimate control, predictability, and wind-resistance, but with reduced average driving distances.
Why Champion Plastic?
Champion is Innova’s most overstable (and highly torque-resistant) plastic, further enhancing the Mako3’s extreme predictability and helping it maintain its straight flights for a very long time.
Recommended Weight: 165-180g
The heavy weight class further increases the Mako3’s (already high) wind-resistance.

This was my third order and the discs are great as always.
They arrived quickly and are exactly as described.
I do really appreciate the disc golf how-to videos and details provided about the disks. It is a great help in deciding which weight will be best for what I need and how each disk will behave (or misbehave).

Thanks for the discs they are great

This is probably the 3rd time I have ordered from you guys. My stuff was all accurate and shipping was fast. Usually your prices are good and the only I would like to see from the site is a little more selection (I do think the limited selection is on purpose, to ensure you are only selling the best discs, but maybe it’s just because you don’t carry other brands, I don’t know). Thanks for the great service! Keep it up!!

Thanks Matt!
Yes, you are correct — we only carry discs that we highly recommend for their intended use. We are, however, evaluating discs outside of the ten brands we currently recommend, and we evaluate all new molds (after they are approved by the PDGA) for consideration in our store.
This year we are also beginning to publish quarterly updates to our subscribers to let them know which new discs we have added (and why).
