Valkyrie Comparison with Average Distance Driver
Why DX Plastic?
DX is a budget-friendly, firm, torque-resistant plastic with solid grip and feel. DX breaks in fairly quickly, allowing players to “tune” discs for different flight patterns.
From Innova: “These discs are affordably priced and provide an excellent grip in a variety of weather situations. DX discs wear in with usage and over time will eventually take on new and varied flight characteristics. Many top pros carry several DX discs of their favorite models to provide different flight patterns for different situations.”
Recommended Weights: 160-175g
160-164g: This lighter class provides the best distance potential, but has the least wind-resistance.
165-169g: Provides balanced performance, giving players the most versatility.
170-175g: The heaviest available weight range for Valkyries, providing maximum control and wind-resistance.
