Prodigy’s most understable disc — and maybe the most understable fairway driver on the entire market.
Combined with very high Glide, the F7 is perfect for long, sweeping S-Shots and distance rollers, even when thrown at only moderate speeds.
Flight Ratings and Analysis
(converted to 4-point system by Best Disc Golf Discs)
SPEED | GLIDE | TURN | FADE |
8 | 6 | -5 | 1 |
Fairway, 1.8cm Rim | Very High Glide | VERY Understable | Long, straight finish |
Recommended Weights: 150-176g
This lighter weight range helps players generate additional release velocity to increase the F7’s glide and turnover.
150-159g: The lightest available class helps players generate the most turnover and provides the best distance potential, but has the least wind-resistance.
160-164g:Â Helps players generate great distance and turnover, but with more wind-resistance than the 150-159g class.
165-169g:Â Provides balanced performance, giving players the most versatility.
170-176g: The heaviest available weight range for 400G F7’s, providing maximum control and wind-resistance.

Why 400G Plastic?
400G is Prodigy’s ultra-premium, durable plastic that offers good grip even when wet.
From Prodigy: “400G Plastic is the regular 400 Plastic with a shot of adrenaline. It is the base 400 plastic mixed with another resin that gives the plastic a slightly different feel than the base 400 Plastic. The additive also makes the disc more durable and requires more time to break it in.”

Well, I can’t thank you enough, and I wish you good luck with your company!
I am a newbie, but each of the 5 discs has made me better.
-My drives are longer with both the Avenger and the Prodigy 400 F7
-My putting is much better with the heavier Aviar
-I haven’t had the great shot I have been expecting with the Buzzz yet, but it’s solid
-I hated the Firebird until today when a veteran showed me how to throw it forehand. Now I think I’ll use it often
As for service, I’m the guy who naively claimed that my Aviar was caved in, not knowing that was actually a feature. Your response was prompt, and your offer to replace it was all that anyone could ever ask. I didn’t and I love it.
I also like the links you’ve sent and the literature you included with the discs. Everything is topnotch. The only, only complaint I have is that I just joined a league and learned that I need a marker disc. I may have missed it, but I didn’t see one on your site, so I had to order elsewhere. You really should offer them as a loss leader — with your logo or something.
I’ve already recommended your company to my son who lives in D.C. I’m sure he will be ordering soon.

I love the new discs! They have really helped me lower my score. Got my first ace last week due to my new confidence from having a more complete disc setup. I can’t give you exact details on how my new discs fly, they fly basically how they were described on the website. I really like the website setup. It’s very intuitive and easy to navigate. The descriptions are on point and easy to understand. And shipping was fast! I will definitely continue buying my discs from Best Disc Golf Discs in the future. Thanks for helping me up my game!
