Why VIP Plastic?
VIP is extremely similar to Opto or Champion plastic, and is Westside’s most overstable plastic, further enhancing the Giant’s overstability.
Discs made in VIP-plastic maintain their flight characteristics and reliability for a long time.
Recommended Weights: 160-176g
This range of weights provides player flexibility — from longer and faster at the lighter end of the range, to max-control as you approach 176g.
160-164g: This lighter class provides the best distance potential, but has the least wind-resistance of the three. Even at this weight, however, the wind-resistance is VERY high.
165-169g: Provides balanced performance, giving players the most versatility.
170-176g: The heaviest available weight range for VIP Giants, providing maximum control and wind-resistance.
“The Giant is our most reliable over stable high speed driver. Made for any size arm the Giant is just what it sounds like, Giant hyzer lines. For professional players it will be your go to hyzer disc for shots over 350 feet. For slower arm speeds it is a good utility disc for all conditions. Many players find that the Giant is a great forehand disc that can hold the high speed of a forehand release. If you are looking for fast and reliable look no further.” Source
